Cut, Prepare and Make small leather goods
Learn to cut, prepare and sew leather using pre-made patterns (If you have done the pattern cutting for Small leather goods short course – you can use the patterns that you have made). You will hand and machine-sew your leather goods. You will use a selection of industrial sewing machines. This short course comprises of two full-day Sunday sessions.
By the end of the short course, you will have a range of small leather goods that you have sewn either by hand or machine. The majority of these products will be finished with a dyed/painted or raw edge.
This short course is suitable for adults – beginners or improvers.
- You will make small leather goods cut from pre-made patterns
- You will be shown how to use equipment safely.
- You will cut, assemble and sew keyrings, credit card slip, coin purse, zipped purse and a simple bi-fold wallet.
Class is appropriate for: Adults – beginners or improvers
Materials: All materials are provided. A small selection of coloured leathers will be available. It is advised to bring a notebook and pen to make notes.

ALL short courses will be provided with an envelope to store your pieces/patterns and a certificate upon full completion of the short course.
Complimentary hot and cold drinks/biscuits are available with this short course to keep you going. We will stop for a 30-minute lunch break, please bring a packed lunch with you.
