Making ( Machine Sewn) Small leather goods
If you want to focus on assembly and machine sewing only, this is the perfect short course to gain more confidence with the industrial sewing machines. Learn to make a selection of small leather goods. You will use pre-prepared pre-cut pieces and a selection of industrial sewing machines. This short course comprises of four evening sessions of 2.5 hours each.
By the end of the short course, you will have a range of small leather goods that you have assembled and sewn by machine. The majority of these products will be finished with a dyed/painted or raw edge.
This short course is suitable for adults – beginners or improvers.
- You will make small leather goods cut from pre-made patterns
- You will be shown how to use equipment safely.
- You will assemble and sew glasses/sunglasses slip, credit card slip, passport cover, coin purse and a simple bi-fold wallet.
Class is appropriate for: Adults – beginners or improvers
Materials: All materials are provided. A small selection of pre-cut shapes will be available. There will be an opportunity to purchase additional pre-cut shapes at an additional charge. It is advisable to bring a notebook and pen to make notes.

ALL short courses will be provided with an envelope to store your pieces/patterns and a certificate upon full completion of the short course.
